Τέταρτη η Ντουντουνάκη στα 100μ. πεταλούδα, για πέντε εκατοστά εκτός βάθρου

Για πέντε εκατοστά του δευτερολέπτου, η Αννα Ντουντουνάκη δεν μπόρεσε να ανέβει για τέταρτη συνεχόμενη φορά στο βάθρο του Ευρωπαϊκού Πρωταθλήματος 25άρας πισίνας στα 100μ. πεταλούδα. Η Ελληνίδα πρωταθλήτρια έδωσε μεγάλη μάχη στον τελικό της διοργάνωσης, που διεξάγεται στο Λούμπλιν της Πολωνίας, και κατέλαβε την τέταρτη θέση με 55.74, έναντι 55.69 της Λουίζ Χάνσον από τη Σουηδία (νικήτριας πριν από δύο χρόνια στο Οτοπένι), η οποία εξασφάλισε το χάλκινο μετάλλιο.

 

Τη μεγάλη έκπληξη έκανε η 18χρονη Μαρτίνε Ντάμποργκ από τη Δανία, η οποία πανηγύρισε τον δεύτερο προσωπικό τίτλο της στο Λούμπλιν (είχε κερδίσει και στα 50μ. πεταλούδα), σημειώνοντας ευρωπαϊκό ρεκόρ νεανίδων με 55.52. Δεύτερη ήταν η Τέσα Γκίλε από την Ολλανδία με 55.55.
