«Αστραπή» ο Σεβίλ

Σε θρίαμβο της Τζαμάικα εξελίχθηκε ο μεγάλος τελικός των 100μ ανδρών του Παγκοσμίου Πρωταθλήματος στίβου του Τόκιο. Μεγάλος νικητής ήταν ο Τζαμαϊκανός, Ομπλίκ Σεβίλ με 9.77 (ατομικό ρεκόρ), ενώ στο δεύτερο σκαλί του βάθρου θα βρεθεί ο συμπατριώτης του, Κισέιν Τόμπσον με 9.82.

 

Τρίτος ήταν ο Ολυμπιονίκης, Νόα Λάιλς (ΗΠΑ) με 9.89.
