Με επικό «καρέ» ο Παυλίδης οδήγησε την Μπενφίκα σε πεντάρα – πρόκρισης

 

 

Με απίθανη εμφάνιση του Βαγγέλη Παυλίδη που σημείωσε τέσσερα τέρματα, η Μπενφίκα κατασπάραξε με 5-0 τη Σεντ Γκάλεν και προκρίθηκε στον 3ο προκριματικό γύρο του Europa League.

Οι «αετοί» είχαν ηττηθεί στην Ελβετία με 2-1 όμως στη ρεβάνς έστειλαν από νωρίς το... μήνυμα πως εκείνοι θα έπαιρναν το εισιτήριο για την επόμενη φάση.

Και αυτό διότι άνοιξαν το σκορ με τον Παυλίδη στο 11' με πλασέ από κοντά, με τον Έλληνα φορ να σημειώνει και δεύτερο τέρμα στο 55' ενώ δέκα λεπτά αργότερα (65') έκανε χατ τρικ για το 3-0. Ο Παυλίδης σημείωσε καρέ τερμάτων στο 74' με πέναλτι και το κερασάκι στην τούρτα για το τελικό 5-0 έβαλε ο Λενγκλέ.
