Νεκρός ο χειριστής του εκπαιδευτικού αεροσκάφους T-2 που κατέπεσε στην Καλαμάτα

Αεροσκάφος τύπου Τ-2E Buckeye της 363 Μοίρας Εκπαίδευσης Αέρος της 120 Πτέρυγας Εκπαίδευσης Αέρος, κατέπεσε, κατά τη διάρκεια εκπαιδευτικής πτήσης, μισό ναυτικό μίλι βορειοδυτικά του αεροδρομίου της Καλαμάτας, στις 11;28 το πρωί με συνέπεια τον θανάσιμο τραυματισμό του κυβερνήτη του, Επισμηναγού (Ι) Επαμεινώνδα Κωστέα, 40 ετών ,όπως ανακοινώθηκε από το Γενικό Επιτελείο Αεροπορίας.

Τα αίτια του δυστυχήματος διερευνώνται από επιτροπή εμπειρογνωμόνων.
