Η Ουάσινγκτον χαιρετίζει την απόφαση του Ερντογάν για την ένταξη της Σουηδίας στο ΝΑΤΟ

Οι Ηνωμένες Πολιτείες καλωσόρισαν σήμερα την απόφαση του Τούρκου προέδρου Ρετζέπ Ταγίπ Ερντογάν να υποβάλει στην τουρκική Εθνοσυνέλευση νομοσχέδιο για την επικύρωση της ένταξης της Σουηδίας στο ΝΑΤΟ.

Ο εκπρόσωπος του Στέιτ Ντιπάρτμεντ Μάθιου Μίλερ είπε ότι η Ουάσινγκτον «ανυπομονεί» να συζητηθεί το νομοσχέδιο αυτό από το τουρκικό κοινοβούλιο και εξέφρασε την ελπίδα να εγκριθεί «το συντομότερο δυνατόν».
