Αργεντινή: Η αντιπρόεδρος Κίρσνερ κρίθηκε ένοχη για διαφθορά και καταδικάστηκε σε φυλάκιση έξι ετών

Ομοσπονδιακό δικαστήριο της Αργεντινής έκρινε σήμερα την αντιπρόεδρο της χώρας Κριστίνα Κίρσνερ ένοχη για διαφθορά σε μια υπόθεση που σχετίζεται με αναθέσεις δημοσίων έργων στη διάρκεια της προεδρικής θητείας της (2007-2015).   Ο εισαγγελέας πρότεινε ποινή φυλάκισης 12 ετών, ενώ η αντιπρόεδρος Κίρσνερ αρνήθηκε τις κατηγορίες σε βάρος της και χαρακτήρισε «πολιτικά υποκινούμενη» τη δίκη. Αντιπρόεδρος της χώρας και πρόεδρος της Γερουσίας από το 2019, η Κριστίνα Κίρσνερ χαίρει ασυλίας, την οποία μπορεί να άρει μόνο το Ανώτατο Δικαστήριο εφόσον επικυρώσει την καταδίκη της. Αν αυτό δεν συμβεί, η Κίρσνερ θα μπορέσει να είναι υποψήφια στις βουλευτικές και προεδρικές εκλογές που θα διεξαχθούν στα τέλη του 2023, αν και προς το παρόν δεν έχει δηλώσει αν προτίθεται να το πράξει. Θεωρείται βέβαιο πως θα ασκήσει έφεση κατά της σημερινής απόφασης και η δικαστική περιπέτεια αναμένεται να διαρκέσει αρκετά χρόνια.    πηγή amna.gr
